Join the ‘Scale It Up’ Campaign!

Our ‘Scale it Up’ campaign is designed to ensure that no green business is left behind.

With the present economy and a new administration that supports green initiatives, the time is now for a rapid expansion of the green economy and the Green Business Network.

Our campaign is connecting members and bringing you new resources and membership benefits.

Based on member feedback, we are developing innovative new programs and services.

Our plans include expanding your market access with new iPhone applications; inclusion in preferred purchasing databases such as EPA and Disney; new eBay partnerships; and a B2B barter exchange program. We are innovating an online sustainability tool that will help your business measure, evaluate, and report your progress toward sustainability.

Our goal is to make the Green America Seal of Approval the real green household icon. We’ll continue to play a policy and advocacy role for green business in Washington DC, and we are ramping up our educational programs through webinars and business tools.

If you are interested in becoming a founding contributor and to learn more about this exciting campaign, contact our Deputy Director Amy Belanger at abelanger@greenamericatoday.org or (202)872-5317.

Fair Trade Tour
Fair Trade Tour a Success

Peruvian artisans Ayde Riveros and Evangelina Pizarro traveled with Green America staff across five states and ten cities, bringing the message of how Fair Trade has impacted their life.

In every town we visited on the Resonating Change: Connecting Communities through Fair Trade tour, we found people eager to learn more about Fair Trade and excited to enter into a fair trading relationship with producers in the global south.

The tour directly connected people to the Munay Rumi jewelers cooperative and El Mercurio knitters cooperative, and thousands learned about the tour and artisans through the extensive media coverage.
