Co-op America’s WoodWise™ Program and Magazine PAPER Project
We work to protect forests and the environment by educating individuals and magazine publishers about the environmental impacts of wood and paper production. Also, we provide tools and resources that large and small consumers can use to achieve financial and environmental sustainability.
The Magazine PAPER Project assists magazine publishers by hosting workshops, publishing print and Web-based resource materials, and working directly with them to help find environmentally preferable paper sources and production processes.
The WoodWise™ Consumer Program involves consumers by educating them about sustainable forest practices with our WoodWise™ Consumer Guide, and encouraging them to urge magazine publishers to make paper and production decisions that are financially, socially, and environmentally responsible.
Copies of our WoodWise™ Consumer Guide, and Publisher Guides and Resources are free to the public and magazine executives. Call 1-800-58-GREEN to order.
Have questions or concerns? Contact Frank Locantore, Magazine PAPER Project Director at 303-454-3360.
