Support Co-op America
Workplace Giving
More and more employers provide workplace giving options that make it easy for you to support Co-op America and other important social change organizations. Here are some programs that might work for you:
Employer Matching Gifts
Increase the impact of your donation to Co-op America with matching funds from your employer! Many employers have gift-matching programs, in which they will match part or all of your contribution to Co-op America. If your employer has such a program, take advantage of it. If not, ask that they create one!
Combined Federal Campaign
Currently, Co-op America is part of CFC--the Combined Federal Campaign. If you are a federal or military employee, you can contribute to Co-op America through payroll deduction. Our CFC number is 10059. Be sure to check it off when you give through CFC!
Working Assets Long Distance
Each year, Working Assets asks their long distance customers to nominate organizations to receive gifts from Working Assets donations pool. If you are a Working Assets customer, make sure that you nominate Co-op America to be listed.
Working Assets asks that you send:
- A Cover letter referencing your name, as only Working Assets customers can nominate nonprofits for the donations pool
- Proof of nonprofit status from Co-op America
- 2004 annual report with financial statements from Co-op America
We will gladly send you copies of this information. Simply call Member Services at (202)872-5316.
Once you receive the packet from us, send it along with your nomination to:
Working Assets Donations Manager
101 Market Street, #700
San Francisco, CA 94105
The deadline for Working Assets to receive nominations for the 2006 gift pool is June 30, 2005.
